In May-June 1951 Los Angeles Transit Lines acquired twenty-five GM TDH-5103 diesel buses which were numbered 6401-6425. They were regularly assigned to the "8" Line and were the biggest LATL buses. They were delivered in regular LATL "Fruit Salad" livery, after '58 LAMTA takeover they received a new LAMTA decal and then were repainted to new LAMTA two-tone green and white colors.
