1941 Kansas City Public Service St.Louis Car Co. PCC (Job 1628; 701-724 series) - second paint scheme (Mid 1940s -early 1950s).

In 1944 the Kansas City Public Service introduced a second paint scheme on their PCC cars, which was a modified version of the original livery, but looks much more attractive. The post-war all-electric cars (725-799 series), delivered in 1946-47, also had this livery. In the early post-war years the 1941 PCCs were equipped with dash lights and in 1948/49 the tread brakes were replaced by drum brakes.
