The last group of the San Francisco C-49s arrived in June-July 1959 (2500-2569 series) and December 1959-February 1960 (2600-2669 series). They were the last C-49s and featured the single rear window. All 450 coaches were virtually returned to Mack, which still owned them, following arrival of the new buses in 1969/70 and 1975.
